I was just told I have to give a talk next April 7th. I usually wouldn't mind (I might not like the truth behind some decisions, but the act itself is not so despicable). The problem is, I was already planning on taking those two weeks off (from April 6th to April 19th). I almost bought my plane tickets last night. Now I got a reason not to do so.
Hm. Not sure if I'm happy or sad. It's kind of bothering, though.
